2024 Big Bass Bonanza Results!

The 2024 Big Bass Bonanza was a huge success!  1,100+ anglers hit the water, 500 fish were weighed in, and a total of $289,568 in cash and prizes were handed out to some of the finest anglers in East Texas!

The newest Big Bass Bonanza angler to join the Champion’s Club was Steven O’Bryan from Marshall, Texas who took home an impressive $107, 942.65!  Check out what Steven won:

But that’s not all.  On top of all of the prizes, the priceless title of Big Bass Bonanza Champion, and our admiration, Steven received the official Champion’s Birdhouse – built by 1985 BBB Champion Lee Scott.

  • 2nd place – Preston Massey from White Oak caught an 8.197 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), $500 from McDaniels Quality Body Works and $5,700 for the Bass O’ The Day from Ballard’s Septic Tank, and a check for $23,000
  • 3rd place – Bud Mahaffey from Union Grove caught an 8.008 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), $500 from East Texas Truck Equipment for being the top veteran angler, and a check for $17,000
  • 4th place – Kash Tomlinson from Jefferson caught a 7.986 lbs. bass and won $600 for biggest bass of the hour,  another $500 for having the 2nd biggest bass of the hour with another fish, $5,700 for the Bass O’ The Day from Patterson Hyundai in Tyler and a check for $11,000
  • 5th place – Robby Leach from Tyler caught a 7.489 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $9,000
  • 6th place – Randy Green from Hot Springs caught a 7.141 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $7,500
  • 7th place – Michael Boyd from New Braunfels caught a 7.133lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $6,500
  • 8th place – Mason Stone from White Oak caught a 7.o48 lbs. bass and won $1200 (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $5,700
  • 9th place – Kenneth Montgomery from Lone Star caught a 6.992 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $4,000
  • 10th place – John Hawks from Oil City caught a 6.734 lbs. bass and won $1200 for biggest bass of the hour (normally $600, but he had his double your money t-shirt), and a check for $2,000
