Luke Bryan is country music’s highest-paid celebrity, according to Forbes. In fact, he’s almost J-Lo rich, judging by the publication’s ranking of the 100 wealthiest stars from all areas of entertainment.
The “Knockin’ Boots” hitmaker comes it at #78 on Forbes‘ list, raking in $42.5 million over the last 12 months. Jennifer Lopez is close by at #76 with just half a million more than Luke.
Luke also out-earned other big names on the list, such as Jerry Seinfeld, the Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews Band, and Celine Dion. His fellow American Idol judge, Katy Perry, managed to outdo him, though: She’s at #41 with $57.5 million.
The only other country act on the list is Zac Brown Band, who rank 95th with $38.5 million.
It’s worth noting the #1 artist on Forbes‘ Celebrity 100 list definitely has some country roots: It’s Taylor Swift, who made $185 million last year.
