The tears ran down like Texas rain at George H. W. Bush’s funeral. With several very touching and special moments, including Reba McEntire as she sang “The Lord’s Prayer”. The funeral was held at the family’s church in Houston at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. 41 was a big country music fan which included Reba, The Oak Ridge Boys, who performed “Amazing Grace” prior to Reba. Both Reba and The Oak Ridge Boys shared their fond memories of their fan and friend, George H. W. Bush on social media earlier in the week. What a beautiful sight all along the Texas trail as the motorcade made it’s way to his final resting place and I am certain a beautiful reuniting with his forever love, Barbara. Thoughts and prayers with the Bush family and the many many friends who’s life he has touched.
