Diane Day speaks with Teresa Fears, former owner/operator of Teresa’s Club on Highway 80 in Longview. After 25 years in business, Fears closed the doors of Teresa’s Club to turn her life towards helping people in need in our community.

Fears is currently raising awareness on two current community projects benefiting House of Hope and Truman W. Smith Children’s Care Center.

House of Hope is a Longview, Texas shelter serving homleless women in need of a safe haven. House of Hope is currently over capacity and in urgent need of food & blankets.

Truman W. Smith Children’s Care Center in Gladewater, Texas has been serving the long term care needs of the medically fragile and complex pediatric and adolescent population since 1988. Teresa’s current campaign is fielding donations of flavored lip balm for these children who have never eaten treats.
